To clean litter from the beach in a simple way, Ruud Mudde of Clean Fountain in the Netherlands has developed the SANDCLEANR. With this tool even the smallest litter, such as cigarette butts, can be removed from the sand quickly and thoroughly.
The idea for this product originated from the fact that Ruud was surprised by the enormous amount of small litter on the beaches tht he likes to visit. With his background as a circular designer, he decided to work out the idea. In recent years, he was accompanied by technical students. they have continuously developed the product and since 2018, the SANDCLEANR has been a fact.
Waste no time
With the motto “Waste no time”, Clean Fountain wants to facilitate everyone to ‘do something’ about litter, and help stop the pollution of beaches and therefore the sea. The litter problem is not limited to our national borders. That is why Clean Fountain wants to make SANDCLEANR available globally.

In addition to the SANDCLEANR, Clean Fountain has also developed the WATERCLEANR. Litter can hereby be easily removed from surface water. Clean Fountain supplies products and solutions to municipalities, schools and kindergarden, the recreation sector, sports clubs, catering establishments and cleaning companies.
